Ace Handyman Services East Orlando is hiring a Craftsman/Handyman to perform a wide range of residential repairs in East Orlando, FL. The role requires completing carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, and finish carpentry work, plus basic plumbing and electrical tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience as Carpenter/Craftsman; estimation skills and home inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Own standard set of tools to perform the above trades.
• Own truck or van with current auto insurance.
• Valid driver’s license and residency near Avalon Park (FL 32828).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of residential repairs and maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Perform a wide variety of residential repairs and maintenance
• Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items
• Troubleshoot repair issues and determine the best solutions
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project
• Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Successful prior track record as a Carpenter / Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience strongly preferred
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
• Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
• Own truck or van with current and valid auto insurance coverage
• Current and valid driver's license
• Residence within a 10-mile radius of Avalon Park (FL 32828)
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50 lbs. overhead
