Job summary

Ace Handyman Services Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Craftsman/Handyman to join our Rhode Island team. This full-time, on-site role covers a wide range of residential repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects across the region.

You will perform carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, flooring, basic plumbing and electrical tasks, with strong emphasis on quality workmanship and customer service. We offer competitive pay ($30–$35/hr), year-round work, paid time off, 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter, craftsman, or handyman.
• Experience across multiple trades: drywall, painting, tile, flooring.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Own a standard set of professional tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of residential repairs and maintenance
• Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items
• Troubleshoot repair issues and determine the best solutions
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project
• Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards

• Strong knowledge across multiple trades, including:

• Home inspection or estimating experience is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Own a standard set of professional tools (company vehicle may be provided)
