Job summary

Ace Handyman Services is seeking an experienced Craftsman/Handyman to join our Ballston Spa area team. This on-site role covers residential repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects across Saratoga County and the Capital District.

You will perform carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, flooring, basic plumbing and electrical work, communicate with homeowners, document jobs, and uphold high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, Craftsman, or Handyman.
• Strong knowledge across multiple trades including drywall, painting, tile, flooring, basic plumbing and basic electrical.
• Home inspection or estimating experience is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Own a standard set of professional tools and a presentable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of residential repairs and maintenance.
• Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile installation, and flooring projects.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Install fixtures, doors, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items.
• Troubleshoot repair issues and determine the best solutions.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and complete work efficiently while upholding high quality standards.
