Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Workforce Services professional to support engagement, retention, and recruitment for Craft Professionals across North America Projects. Based at the Reston/Houston area, the role collaborates with project teams to improve the employee experience and workforce metrics.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience or 5–6 years in related fields, English fluency, and a willingness to travel. Construction familiarity is preferred and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
• 1+ years’ of experience in Industrial Relations / Labor Relations / Workforce Services, Human Resources, employee engagement, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Must have the right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of engagement and retention strategies across Bechtel’s North America projects.
• Partner with project Workforce Services and Communications teams to identify opportunities to enhance the Craft Professional employee experience.
• Support employee feedback initiatives, workforce surveys, focus groups, and other methods used to gather workforce insights.
• Monitor workforce trends and provide recommendations to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention outcomes.
• Promote initiatives fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive site culture.
• Support and drive development and execution of recruitment advertising campaigns to position Bechtel as the employer of choice.
• Collaborate with Project and functional teams to monitor market trends, identifying opportunities to strengthen recruitment strategies.
• Promote career opportunities and the benefits of a career in construction through support and participation in recruitment events, hiring fairs, and other workforce outreach activities.
• Develop reports, presentations, and analyses related to workforce trends, strategy, program outcomes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of Bechtel's Craft Professional Attract, Train, and Retain strategy, including tracking and reporting on program metrics.
