Job summary

King Street Brewing Company is seeking a Food Service Worker to deliver high-quality pub fare—house-made pizzas, pretzels, and sausages—at our premier Anchorage craft brewery.

Representing NMS, you will input sales into POS, maintain clean work areas, assist customers with orders and recommendations, and help with food preparation in a fast-paced environment that values safety and a strong beer-community connection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food handler/ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
• Six months cashier experience.
• Six months related food service experience.
• Six months of customer service experience.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Input sales into POS systems accurately.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and refresh as needed.
• Clean and wipe work areas and manage waste.
• Report quality or quantity issues to supervisor.
• Assist customers with information, orders, and recommendations.
• Count cash drawers and prepare deposits.
• Prepare food and cook entrees.
• Assist with periodic large cleaning projects.
• This role has no supervisory duties.
• Other duties to support the department's success.
