Job summary

ECWI Hospitality in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, seeks a friendly bartender for a fast-paced, upscale bar. You will take drink orders, recommend beer and wine, craft cocktails, and keep the bar clean and sanitary.

Evening and weekend shifts required with some holidays; compensation starts at $10 per hour plus tips. Prior bartending experience and knowledge of classic cocktails and premium spirits highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have previous bartending experience.
• Upscale cocktail or craft bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine, beer, and modern mixology techniques.
• Ability to create high-quality handcrafted cocktails.
• Experience preparing cocktail ingredients from scratch (syrups, infusions, garnishes).
• Strong attention to presentation and guest service in an upscale bar.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and mise en place; stock and inventory bar supplies.
• Identify customers for age verification and comply with regulations.
• Handle checks, tabs, and record daily sales in POS.
• Work evenings and weekends; some holidays; adapt to business levels.
