Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Beverage Specialist to deliver high-volume bar service in a fast-paced casino setting in Las Vegas. The role requires crafting cocktails to exact specifications, upselling food and beverages, and maintaining a clean, organized bar while adhering to alcohol awareness laws.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of bartending experience in high-volume environments, excellent customer service, and the ability to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience bartending in a high-volume front bar, service bar, and/or fine dining environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Extensive cocktail recipe knowledge, wine and craft beer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails with accuracy and showmanship.
• Uphold cash handling policies for bar checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock as directed.
• Provide food and beverage recommendations to guests to enhance experience.
• Follow alcohol awareness laws and safety procedures.
