A renowned luxury resort in California is seeking a Bartender to provide thorough knowledge of the beverage collection and prepare drink orders. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of cocktails and hospitality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a fine dining environment and is expected to engage with guests while maintaining a professional atmosphere. The role includes responsibilities like preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness at the bar, plus flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in the beverage area in a fine dining establishment.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a TABC server's permit before start date.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and understanding of our beverage collection and prepare drink orders.
• Mix and serve drinks ordered and master classic and craft cocktails.
• Engages and educates guests about the bar programs.

Skills

Knowledge of a range of cocktails, beverages, and cordials

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic knowledge of wine service

Ability to manage diverse tasks simultaneously

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
