Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Illinois seeks a friendly bartender/server to mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following Applebee’s specifications, and to serve food and beverages to bar guests in a courteous, timely manner.

You will handle opening/closing sidework, garnish drinks, present checks, and process payments. The role offers a flexible schedule, with benefits including meals, insurance, 401K in Illinois locations, and opportunities for online education.

Qualifications

• Experience serving guests in a bar or restaurant environment.
• Ability to take and fulfill drink orders accurately.
• Friendly, upbeat communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Interacts verbally with bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Serves food and drinks to bar guests.
• Completes opening and closing sidework.
• Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks.
• Presents guest checks and processes payments.
• Relays food orders to kitchen via POS system.
• Processes employee and/or manager food orders.
