Job summary

Target in Redwood City is seeking a Starbucks Barista to deliver a welcoming guest experience, craft beverages, and maintain a smooth Food & Beverage area.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, greet guests, handle transactions, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with teammates. Previous Starbucks or food service experience is helpful, but strong customer service is essential. Training provided; flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at 10ft and 4ft, help guests find what they need, resolve issues, and end transactions with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, inspects, signing, and organizing.
• Always be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks.
• Follow all food safety requirements and complete and record all cleaning tasks.
