Job summary

City of North Miami Beach seeks a seasoned CRA Manager to lead day-to-day operations, financial management, redevelopment programs, and regulatory compliance for the North Miami Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. Reporting to the Executive Director and Board, you will guide budget administration, program oversight, and strategic initiatives through March 2028 and beyond.

You will coordinate with Miami-Dade County, City departments, and external partners to secure extension of the NMBCRA,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in community redevelopment, economic development, municipal government, public administration, urban development, real estate development, governmental finance, or a substantially related field, including significant management or supervisory responsibility.
• Experience working directly with a Florida community redevelopment agency is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CRA operations, workflow, records, programs, and administrative activities.
• Develop and maintain administrative procedures, operating protocols, project schedules, and compliance calendar.
• Coordinate CRA activities with City departments, CRA Attorney, consultants, auditors, vendors, contractors, developers, and community stakeholders.
• Implement policies, programs, projects, and directives established by the CRA Board and Executive Director.
• Track Board directives and ensure timely completion and reporting of follow-up items.
