Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking CR/DR Level II Technicians to support operations in Washington, PA. This is a local callout position with relocation assistance for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, performing tests, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Candidates should have a High School diploma, Level II CR/DR certification, and a technical NDT background. Safety adherence and the ability to supervise others are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• Certified Level II CR and/or DR is required or preferred.
• Preferred UT or UTT/MT/PT - PMI credentials are a plus.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Experience in report writing and interpreting inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety compliance
• Apply testing criteria per specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
