Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a CPU Security Architect to shape the security foundations of next-gen CPUs, CPU clusters, and control processors.

You will define access-control policies, isolation boundaries, and secure boot/debug access, collaborating with SoC architects to optimize Power, Performance, and Area while boosting security. You will work across CPU subsystems, firmware interfaces, and shared memory, applying system security expertise to ensure robust protection against threats

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Hardware/Software Eng or related field (Bachelor).
• 7+ years with a Master’s degree.
• 6+ years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new CPU security features to counter threats.
• Architect access-control topologies for CPU clusters and control processors.
• Collaborate with HW and SW teams to ensure secure design principles.
• Deliver security architecture specs for subsystem architects and shared resources.
• Conduct regular security assessments and recommend changes.
• Stay updated on industry threats and vulnerabilities.
