Qualifications

• BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Academic or industry background in CPU performance architecture, micro-architecture, or performance analysis.
• Proficient in C and C++.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software and system teams to profile critical CPU workloads.
• Develop representative benchmarks for CPU critical workloads.
• Capture workloads for simulation on CPU performance models.
• Identify hardware and software performance bottlenecks.
• Work with Architecture, Micro-Architecture, and RTL teams to identify solutions.
• Run workloads on simulators and prototype devices; help develop performance analysis infrastructure.
