Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a CPU Engineer to lead innovative Central Processing Unit design efforts and drive multi-core CPU operations across Qualcomm business units.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, verify, and implement CPU features, with emphasis on performance verification for world-class mobile and portable CPUs. Strong RTL and modeling experience is required.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Architecture with 5+ years of practical experience.
• Good CPU architecture knowledge and micro-architecture knowledge.
• Experience working in a RTL simulation environment.
• Experience working in a performance modeling environment.
• Proficient in Verilog, C and C++ and scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
• Ability to problem solve and prove your own ideas.
• Knowledge and experience with common performance benchmarks and workloads.

Responsibilities

The Potential Areas To Work Include

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits

$155,400.00 - $233,200.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
