Job summary

The Beating Heart Center is seeking a CPR Instructor to empower lives by delivering engaging CPR and first aid training to groups of all sizes. Training and support are provided for both new and renewing instructors, with a medical background considered a plus but not required.

Role involves presenting Adult and Pediatric CPR, BLS, and related courses, assessing learner progress, and maintaining class resources in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in CPR instruction or related teaching roles.
• CPR Instructor certification or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid certification and knowledge of first aid techniques.
• Proficiency in CPR techniques and AED usage.
• Strong public speaking and instructional skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver CPR training classes including Adult CPR, Pediatric CPR, BLS, and combination courses
• Assess students’ performance and provide constructive feedback
• Demonstrate CPR techniques and use of AEDs effectively
• Support instructional activities and maintain engagement during sessions
• Manage course materials and ensure training resources are ready
• Speak confidently in front of audiences to motivate and educate
