Job summary

First Coast CMS in Green Cove Springs, FL is seeking a hands-on Pool & Facility Maintenance Technician to manage daily commercial pool operations and comprehensive facility upkeep.

This full-time role requires the ability to work outdoors in heat, lift up to 75 lbs, and travel between community locations as needed. A current Florida CPO certification and 2+ years of commercial pool experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with commercial pools.
• 2–5 years general property, facility, or grounds maintenance.
• Familiarity with Florida Department of Health pool regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily commercial pool maintenance; test water and balance chemicals.
• Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, and related systems.
• Handle openings/closings and routine inspections for safe operations.
• Perform routine maintenance across the property; basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and complete work orders via mobile device.
• Assist with event setup and teardown for community events.
