Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist to own the review, acquisition, and management of consumer purchase data partners. You will identify high-quality datasets from retailers, data providers, aggregators, and other third-party sources to support consumer insights and analytics.

You will collaborate with internal teams to determine data requirements, manage vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory and privacy compliance across data licensing and onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data acquisition, data partnerships, data procurement, data operations, market research, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sources of CPG purchase data from retailers, data providers, aggregators, and other third-party sources.
• Manage end-to-end data acquisition processes from source identification through contracting, onboarding, and delivery.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Finance, Data Engineering and Analytics to enable data licensing and onboarding.
• Review data-provider documentation, schemas, sample files, APIs, and delivery specifications.
• Conduct initial data-quality assessments and identify data gaps or anomalies before ingestion.
