Crowe's Audit and Assurance Winter Internship in Austin, TX offers hands-on exposure to auditing, working with client financials and internal controls while using analytics tools to enhance service quality. Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting with CPA eligibility nearing, plus strong Excel skills, is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Accounting or similar degree
• CPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license
• Proficient with Excel
• Strong academic credentials
• Proficient with Excel
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
• Desire to travel
• Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed (Saturday and/or Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Audit client financials, transactions and internal control processes.
• Work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service.
• Use audit tools and technologies with advanced analytics and data visualizations to analyze client data.
• Work on diverse client engagements including manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance and financial institutions.
• Prepare and participate in benefit plan audits (401(k), pension, ESOP).
