Centra Rehabilitation Hospital in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Board-Certified Physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to provide scheduled inpatient coverage in support of our Medical Director and growing rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active Virginia license (or eligibility for licensure) and in good standing.
• Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or other qualifying specialty.
• Completion of a PM&R residency, rehabilitation fellowship, or equivalent rehabilitation training and experience.
• Eligible for medical staff privileges and committed to high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation care.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled inpatient rehabilitation coverage in support of the Medical Director and growing program.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in hospital governance and quality improvement initiatives as eligible.
• Support ongoing recruitment and development of the inpatient rehabilitation program.
