Job summary

Arrive Logistics in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Coverage Specialist after a one-week training program to learn carrier capacity and support our customers nationwide. You will collaborate with internal sales and operations to secure cost-effective shipments and build relationships with carriers.

In this high-volume, fast-paced role, you’ll make outbound and inbound calls, qualify carriers, and help resolve issues during transit. Potential to evolve into full-time sales within Arrive.

As a Coverage Specialist, you will contribute to that commitment! After an intense one week training program, you will hit the ground running, armed with industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of carrier capacity. Once you hit the floor, you will focus on finding carriers across the nation to transport our customer’s shipments! Through negotiation and collaboration, you will enable Arrive to service our customers and their freight in the most cost-effective way possible.

Who We Want

We are looking for dedicated, high-energy candidates to join our growing team of Coverage Specialists. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a growing start-up and launch a career in logistics! During your first 60 days with us, you will learn the business and understand the relationships between departments. After shadowing different roles, you will have a better understanding of where you want to launch your career in logistics. In partnership with leadership, we will help identify where that next role will be. After hitting your performance goals during your first 60 days in the position, you will be considered for the opportunity to evolve your career into a full-time role in sales at Arrive Logistics!

How You’ll Learn:

After an intensive one-week training program, you’ll hit the ground running with the knowledge, tools, and resources to secure reliable carrier capacity nationwide. You’ll work closely with our internal sales and operations teams to provide seamless coverage, anticipate potential risks, and proactively resolve issues before they impact our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Learn the business in our one-week training program, designed to get you ramped quickly & effectively.
• Hustle! We want reliable team members who will show up on time and get the job done.
• Get on the phone! This is a high-volume role, so be prepared for lots of inbound/outbound calls from carriers across the country.
• Secure capacity by selling shipments over the phone to carriers who meet our strict requirements.
• Problem-solve through issues that occur during transit.
• Communicate internally with our customer sales team & keep them updated on the status of their customers’ shipments. You are their point of contact for all tracking updates

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Highly level of Accountability
• Proven work-ethic in a high volume setting.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills (both verbal & written).
