Job summary

Courtyard at Monterey Park is hiring a Bistro Attendant to deliver warm hospitality and quick, accurate service in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, manage buffet replenishment, handle POS transactions, and work with kitchen and hotel teams to ensure smooth service from opening to closing. Previous hotel/food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel-related experience preferred.
• Comfortable with financial calculations related to billing and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and navigate menu to create VIP dining moments.
• Keep buffet stocked and process orders quickly using POS system.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and confidence.
• Collaborate with kitchen and hotel staff from opening to closing duties.

• Buffet Boss & Order Pro: Keep the buffet stocked and looking fresh, while handling orders with speed and accuracy using our POS system. You're the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps service smooth and satisfying.
• Money Matters Master: Handle cash transactions with precision and confidence—no mix-ups, no stress, just smooth sailing.
• Teamwork Dynamo: Work hand-in-hand with the kitchen and hotel crew to keep things flowing. From opening to closing duties, meetings to safety checks, you're always on point and ready to roll.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
