Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Bistro Attendant for the Courtyard Manhattan Aggieville location. The position offers weekend shifts (and some weekdays) from 6:00 am to 10:30 am, at $11 per hour plus tips, on-site in Manhattan, KS.

Duties include guest greeting, buffet upkeep, POS transactions, and teamwork with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Required: High School diploma or equivalent; hotel/food service experience preferred; basic math for billing; strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused hospitality experience preferred.
• Comfortable handling financial calculations related to billing.
• Experience in a fast-paced service setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with menu navigation, including breakfast service.
• Keep buffet stocked and assist guests with orders using the POS system.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with kitchen and hotel staff from opening to closing procedures.

• Buffet Boss & Order Pro: Keep the buffet stocked and looking fresh, while handling orders with speed and accuracy using our POS system. You’re the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps service smooth and satisfying.
• Money Matters Master: Handle cash transactions with precision and confidence—no mix-ups, no stress, just smooth sailing.
• Teamwork Dynamo: Work hand-in-hand with the kitchen and hotel crew to keep things flowing. From opening to closing duties, meetings to safety checks, you’re always on point and ready to roll.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Comfortable with financial calculations related to billing and transactions.
