Qualifikationen

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to appear in court and develop courtroom skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare for and appear at court calendars, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Review files, evidence, court records, and other materials in preparation for hearings.
• Communicate with parties, attorneys, witnesses, court personnel, and other individuals involved in assigned matters.
• Negotiate and resolve matters when appropriate.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Maintain responsibility for deadlines, court appearances, and assigned cases.
• Develop courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Assist with personal injury matters as needed.
• Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation as opportunities arise.
• Communicate directly with clients and help them understand the legal process.
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members.
