Job summary

Courthouse Security Division is seeking a dedicated security professional to protect people and property at the courthouse complex. You will perform screening, monitor access points, and report incidents while maintaining courteous, professional service for judges, staff, jurors, and the public.

Under supervision, you will support security operations, assist with inmate handling, and respond to emergencies with appropriate authorities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with security management and safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to pass background, drug screen, and firearms/taser qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Protect persons and property at the Courthouse under supervision.
• Provide security for high-profile officials, staff, jurors, inmates and the public.
• Conduct perimeter and facility screening using security technology and staff.
• Maintain accurate reports and records; follow policies and procedures.
• Assist in escorting or transporting inmates as needed and ensure safety of all.
