Job summary

Ada S McKinley Community Services Inc in Milwaukee is seeking a Custodial Worker for the Milwaukee Federal Courthouse. Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the role performs daily, weekly and periodic cleaning of the building.

This on-site position offers a rate of $17.75 per hour with flexible day hours, Monday through Friday. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of janitorial experience, with disability documentation as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education equivalent is required.
• Requires 6 months experience in janitorial/custodial field (or completion of a janitorial/custodial-training program).

Responsibilities

• Cleans sweeps and mops floors as required by cleaning schedule.
• Washes mirrors, stalls, walls, sinks and baseboards.
• Vacuums, shampoos and scrubs carpets.
• Conducts periodic buffing, stripping and waxing of floors.
• Cleans water fountains, telephone booths, astray, and janitorial closets.
