Job summary

Meijer in McHenry, IL is seeking cart attendants to help keep the store running smoothly. You will ferry carts, assist with parking lot upkeep, assist with snow removal when needed, and support cleaning duties while working with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store to interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot teams.
• Support departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
