Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store, focusing on customer service and efficient store operations. You’ll interact with customers and support service desks, carts, and cleaning duties.

You will rotate through departments and assist with perishables, returns, stocking, and general store upkeep. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a bustling retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
