Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
Strive to put at least five items in each bag while ensuring items are not damaged.
Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
Assist in removing customer merchandise from the bottom of the bascart for checkout.
Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
Perform basic shelf conditioning.
Inform customers of grocery specials.
Return merchandise to store shelves.
Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
Clean spills, collect and pick up trash inside the store and parking lot.
Clean all areas inside and outside the store.
Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
Understand the store's layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and notifying store management of unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying the appropriate department or store manager of items needing repair.
Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated by answering product questions.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
Work cooperatively in a fast‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
