Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

  1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
  2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
  3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts and help load bags into customers' cars.
  4. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
  5. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
  6. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
  7. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
  8. Adhere to food safety regulations, inspect equipment, and report repair needs.
  9. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions about products.
  10. Follow all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
  11. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflict calmly, and act with honesty and integrity.
  12. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  13. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
