Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations. You’ll interact with customers and perform duties in service, product handling and basic store maintenance to support a smooth shopping experience.

This role focuses on customer service excellence and teamwork within a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for development and advancement through Meijer Rewards programs and education assistance.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
