Job summary

Tony's Fresh Markets is seeking Courtesy Clerks to help bag groceries and assist customers to their vehicles, delivering friendly, respectful service and ensuring bags are packed to maximize space without damaging produce.

You will also bring in shopping carts during low flow, stay aware of weather conditions, and be prepared to work in all conditions. The role requires energy, reliability, and the ability to handle calm or busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Store Hours of operation: 7am - 10pm (7days a week).
• Must be 16 years and older for this position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Courtesy Clerks help put purchased groceries into bags for customers. Some customers may need assistance to their vehicle and you will be cordial and respectful and give them the best customer service without receiving a tip. In addition, baggers have to be quick and careful, making sure to pack bags to maximize space without overloading or damaging customer's produce or soft items. Baggers will also be responsible in bringing in carts when the cart flow is low. You will always need to know what the weather is because it is your responsibility to come prepared to work. Carts need to come into the store whether it's raining, snowing, 0 below, or extremely hot.

May perform other duties as assigned or required.

The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position.

• *Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
