Hy-Vee Geneseo Dollar Fresh Market in Geneseo, IL seeks a courteous Courtesy Clerk to join our team. This hourly, part-time role involves helping customers, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and welcoming.

No education or experience required; we provide training. Expect active work, standing, walking, lifting, and teamwork as you greet customers, bag purchases, and assist with carts, floor cleaning, and shelf merchandising.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and going out of your way to make every visit a great one.
• Package customer purchases and assist customers in transporting them to their mode of transportation.
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and cart corrals throughout your shift.
• Clean registers, restrooms, the break room, and the backroom, and sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise, clean shelves, understand shelf tags, and know the location of merchandise in the store and backroom.
• Pull product forward on shelves to maintain a full, organized appearance.
• Check prices on products as needed.
• Maintain front end supplies including paper and plastic bags, receipt paper, and other necessary items.
• Help train new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver product to customers and assist in all departments as requested within wage and hour guidelines.
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as needed.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.

You will have regular exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dampness, dirt, and cleaning chemicals or solvents.
