Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Courtesy Team Member in Kentucky. You will gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across services, product and customer service while embodying our “above and beyond” customer service ethos. Starting pay is $13.25/hour, with rates based on experience and union pay scale.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts from outside to inside the store.

• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across the store.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. Meijer Courtesy Team Members enjoy interacting with people and know what 'above and beyond' customer service means.

Hiring Immediately at no less than $13.25/hour. Starting rate is based on experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Required Scheduling Availability: Days are flexible, but you must be available on our 3 busiest sales days (F, S, S) and you must be available between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.


• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.


• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.


• Perishable and salvage returns.
  
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.


• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.


• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
