Job summary

This is recurring work for independent contractors, with compensation including appearance and attendance pay plus 70% of transcript page revenue, realtime/draft premiums, and steady assignment volume.

Qualifications

• RPR (NCRA) certification or active CSR license valid in the jurisdiction of assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of professional court reporting experience.
• Notary Public commission in the jurisdiction of assignment or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with stenographic CAT software and reliable professional equipment with redundant backup recording.
• No federal security clearance required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Produce a complete, accurate, verbatim record of depositions, arbitrations, and examinations.
• Deliver certified transcripts within requested turnaround tiers.
• Provide realtime output where requested; manage exhibits.
• Uphold professional confidentiality and impartiality as an officer of the record.
• Work as an independent contractor with recurring assignments.
