The Nisqually Indian Tribe is seeking a Court Clerk to support Criminal, Civil, Youth, Family, Traffic, Juvenile, Truancy, Wellness and Traditional Courts. The role requires accuracy, independence and attention to detail in handling court documents and procedures.
Responsibilities include processing pleadings, stamping documents, assisting litigants, maintaining case files and attending trainings. Adherence to confidentiality and compliance with tribal law are essential.
The Court Clerk position is responsible for Criminal, Civil, Youth, Family, Traffic, Juvenile, Truancy, Wellness and Traditional Courts. The Court Clerk is responsible that work is performed with speed, accuracy and attention to detail. The Court Clerk performs a variety of technical clerical duties related to proceedings for the Tribal Court and Judicial Services Personnel. The Court Clerk is responsible for carrying out duties in accordance with specific and detailed instructions as to the procedures, methods and techniques to be used. This position requires independent judgement from time to time.
