The Course Developer will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining educational content and training programs related to semiconductor technology. This role requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, excellent instructional design skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging and effective learning materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and refine instructor‑led training materials based on feedback.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate and enhance course content.
- Develop engaging training modules using e‑learning, instructor‑led, and blended formats.
- Create tool certifications and design maintenance courses for semiconductor equipment.
- Verify PBET procedure lists for VR training to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Revise assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and learner comprehension.
- Update course content to reflect industry advancements and best practices.
- Stay current with semiconductor technology trends and educational methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (strong expertise required).
- Strong written and verbal communication in technical English.
- Ability to write clear, concise instructional copy.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical training, field service, or technical communications.
- 5+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or course development.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and technologies (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
- Experience with multimedia production, including photo/video editing and animation.
- Familiarity with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, PBET).
- Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging and effective learning materials.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills.
