Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a part-time Courier/Logistics professional in Tyler, TX to support patient care by ensuring timely transport of reports, specimens, and supplies between the lab and healthcare facilities.

This role is first shift with 20 hours weekly and is not benefit eligible. You will handle specimen transport, maintain safety and compliance, and interact with clients to deliver reliable, customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record (last 3 years).
• Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare providers.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Hours: 1st Shift

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are successfully transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle – rain or shine!
• Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All You Need Is

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Bonus Points If You’ve Got

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes. This includes cars, trucks, and/or vans.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
