Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including medical exams. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record as per state requirements. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safety consciousness.
