Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking a delivery courier responsible for operating company vehicles, delivering and picking up packages, and providing courteous customer service on assigned routes.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a Monday through Friday positions with some Saturdays. This is a cover route, shifts will vary weekly and daily. Shifts will be between the hours of 7:00am and 6:45pm.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Note: there are specific requirements for any employee that operates a company vehicle. Please refer to policy 4-48 for exact job requirements. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with your state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and have good driving record as outlined in policy. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay Transparency

Pay: $23.52 per hour starting pay

Additional Details: Monday - Friday - Variable Shifts - Some Saturdays may be required.
