Minimum Education

• High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

• Six months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials.

Job Conditions

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license per state requirements for assigned vehicle type and have a good driving record.
• Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely.
