Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a driver/operator for a casual courier position in Saint George, Utah. You will deliver and pick up packages, ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards, and provide related customer service.

This non-DOT, safety-sensitive role requires neat appearance, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with equipment/assistance, and a valid vehicle-type license. Work Tue-Sat; pay is $21.05 per hour. FedEx is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Job description

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Additional Details:

Casual Courier Non/DOT. This is an occasional delivery driver position. Tuesday - Saturday.
