Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages with a courteous, efficient approach. Responsibilities include checking shipments for FedEx service conformance and performing related customer service tasks.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and English proficiency to communicate with traffic safety officials and customers. Part-time PM Tuesday-Saturday; EOE with accommodations available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup packages in a courteous and efficient manner.

• Drive vehicles not regulated by FMCSA Section 391; perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
