Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Courier to join our team in Tampa, FL. The role operates Monday–Friday with an evening shift, handling daily pickups, transporting lab specimens and supplies, and delivering to the local branch.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A company vehicle is provided, with optional personal-use access for a small fee. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• No education or experience required.
• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience beneficial.
• 1 year or more of customer service experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Tampa, FL

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm (subject to Change)

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Job Standards

• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years’ old

Courier will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
