Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Courier to document, package and transport samples while maintaining quality control and strict adherence to health and safety policies. The role includes long-distance driving with up to 250–300 miles per day across multiple stops, and requires strong English communication and a valid driver’s license.

The position is full-time, with core hours 8am-5pm on weekdays, and flexibility for schedule shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and ability to drive delivery vehicles.
• Strong communication and ability to follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Document, package and transport samples following project plans/protocols.
• Quality control of assignments and complete required documentation.
• Follow and enforce company health and safety policies.
• Follow technical instructions and guidance.
• May assist with data collection and routine sampling as needed.
• Long distance driving with routes up to 250–300 miles per day (1–5 stops).
• May be asked to drive to other locations based on business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols
• Responsible for quality control of all assignments and completing documents
• Following and enforcing company health and safety policies.
• Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.
• May assist with data collection and routine sampling, as needed
• Long distance driving
  • Candidates in this role may be asked to drive as far as North New Jersey, Pittsburg, etc., and a maximum of 250-300 miles per day, round trip
    • Route could consist of anywhere from 1-5 stops
    • May be asked to drive to other locations as needed based on business needs
• Additional duties as assigned

Role is full-time, M-F, 8am-5pm as the basic hours for the role, but hours may vary some, due to routes and traffic, and could be extended as late as 6pm-8pm on occasion. Candidates who have some flexibility in regards to potentially shifting schedules and hours would be ideal for this position.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to use Smartphone.
• Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours)
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Ability to follow GPS directions
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Additional Information

Pay rate: $17.75/hour
