Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a courier to operate company vehicles, delivering and picking up packages and providing courteous customer service within the station's service area.

You will verify shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, cover assigned routes, and perform related duties as needed. The role requires physical ability, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months courier experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand traffic signs.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with assistance.
• Must meet FMCSA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and provides delivery and pickup of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area.
• Provides related customer service functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
