FedEx is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages in Tampa, ensuring courteous and efficient service. You will verify shipments meet FedEx standards and handle related customer service tasks.

This full-time role runs Monday–Saturday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with a day off to be determined. A high school diploma/GED and a valid vehicle-type license are required; FMCSA medical exam is required.

Qualificações

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier items with equipment or assistance.
• Good communication and neat appearance due to customer contact.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
