Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a driver/operator of company vehicles in Londonderry, NH. You will deliver and pick up packages, check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, and provide related customer service. This role requires a valid vehicle license and the ability to lift heavy packages.

Typical shifts are Monday through Friday, part-time, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Starting pay is $22.11 per hour, with equal opportunity employment and accommodations available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the FMCSA.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Medical exam required.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
