Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time driver/operator to deliver and pick-up packages in a courteous, efficient manner. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid license for the assigned vehicle.

You will perform related customer service tasks and adhere to FedEx safety standards. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, with a part-time, customer-facing position that supports FedEx operations and safety regulations.

Competenze

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet driver license/ vehicle type requirements and FMCSA/FMCSA-related standards.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
