Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator of company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The role requires maintaining FedEx service standards and assisting customers as needed.

The position is Mon-Sat with a day off to be determined; AM shift and part-time external status. Minimum education: high school diploma/GED and vehicle license. Must be at least 21 and able to lift 50 lbs, read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
